Muchas familias del barrio de Bon Pastor están bajo amenaza de desalojo, mostrando la insostenibilidad del Plan de Remodelación corriente y las ilegalidades que comporta. Por lo tanto, es esencial otra remodelación
, que garantice cero desalojos
y una participación real
de los habitantes del barrio.
AIH está promoviendo un Concurso internacional de ideas para elaborar soluciones alternativas (www.repensarbonpastor.wordpress.com
) y ahora envía un llamamiento a la solidaridad
para defender el derecho a la vivienda de las familias amenazadas, bloquear las demoliciones y abrir negociaciones con las contrapartes públicas.

After almost four days of meticulous deliberation. The jury have carefully examined, analyzed, debated and assessed the proposals, and now we finally know which ones they have selected as the best ideas of the competition!

The ideas competition "Repensar Bonpastor", sponsored by the IAI and organised by a group of architects, anthropologists and local planners, had a great success with over 150 teams enrolled. The Jury has selected four proposals as the best with the fifth one being awarded a special recognition. The winning teams consist of technicians from Spain, Holland, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Greece and Colombia, who have contributed towards the study concerning participatory urban regeneration and zero evictions at Bon Pastor’s “casas baratas” (“affordable housing”) neighbourhood in Barcelona. It is about gathering ideas to enable all people to benefit from, which has the opposite effect towards the City Council’s demolitions which have already begun in the neighbourhood.
"Rethinking Bonpastor" Follow-up
The BonThinkers group will be presenting in London the proposal for the urban regeneration with a participatory and “Zero Evictions” approach in a public forum, at which live connections with chair of the Advisory Group on Forced Evictions of UN-Habitat, the co-ordinator of the International Alliance of Inhabitants and some of the Bon Pastor local inhabitants, will be set up to present the current scenario.Livestreaming: Friday the 7th May (11.00 am London time, 12.00 am Barcelona time)
Barcelona. Protesta masiva de los habitantes de las Casas Baratas de Bon Pastor

Después de varios días en que en el barrio del Bon Pastor de Barcelona la tensión subía alrededor del problema de las casas cerradas, sábado 19 de junio explotó la rabia de los habitantes.
Durante más de cinco horas muchísimas familias del barrio salieron a la calle con martillos y mazas y abrieron la mayoría de las 35 casas que el Patronato mantiene cerradas.

Viernes 2 de julio 2011, en el Centro Cívico de Bon Pastor (Barcelona), a partir de las 17.30, se presentarán las propuestas que participaron y que ganaron el Concurso de Ideas Repensar Bon Pastor "para una remodelación con cero desalojos del barrio de Bon Pastor en Barcelona".
